Book Summary:
Kyra Walker is a newly divorced single mother working as a waitress at a Gentleman's Club. When a customer offers her a thousand dollars to get someone off their back for money they owe them she agrees. But when she finds out that her customer is a heartless cheapskate she finds a way so that both parties get what they want.

My Favorite Line:
(Remember she works at a strip club)

Red Sonja had finished her set and was sitting at the bar when I approached.

"Hey Red, how do you get something from someone when they don't want to give it to you?" I asked.

Red Sonja stood up and shook her 34 Double Ds in my face. I laughed, "I don't think that's going to work, but thanks for the advice."

My Review:

This was short and more like a cool thriller because I was trying to figure out what happened next.

It's the mind massage between long novels.

A Nice Chill Read

I'm actually pretty interested in where the full novel series will go. I love mystery. Kyra is looking for a guy. . .which reminds me I was a bit upset when sparks didn't fly with her and ...a particular person, but it all worked out in the end so that is good.

I do think that having a women sleuth that is a waitress in a strip club will give opportunity to some very interesting mysteries and hot romances. I'm waiting for book one!

About the Author

K. Nicole Williams lives and writes in a quaint town in the Shenandoah Valley with her husband and two (almost three) wonderful sons. She has been writing since the day her mother handed her a crayon, but has only started publishing her work in 2012. When she is not writing, she is either reading a good book or chasing after her boys.
